And I'm sure Delicious Delicia would know all about Breightmet, pasties and Bolton Wanderers.

Jayjay, I barely touched the surface of my life.

Some of it awesome, some of it so-so, some of it blah and some of it sad...so, in general, typical.

I didn't know you drove the Audi Mark, how long have you had it ? Another snippet about Hampo is his youngest lad is named after God, Nat Lofthouse, and is a great little guy as is his oldest boy.

Had it 3 months now, Peter.
Treated myself after the accident.
Fantastic machine, if not a little thirsty.
Best I've managed out of it was an average of 19.3mpg over a tank (of 90litres) full.
Not very economical when you're throwing fuel in at £1.05 per litre.

Liz is thinking of going back to either the A4, or get into the A5, next year when the lease comes up on the A6. Great car to drive though don't you think ?

There are plenty of A4s on the roads, and the A5 is a beautiful looking car.

Have to agree that the S8 is a great car to drive.

Not too sure of the wing span, but it's somewhere around 79" (in old money) with the doors closed.
Although most of the 2.3Tes is taken up with a 4.2 Litre V8 engine.

I've got a 3.0l V6 and I drive at a consistent 95mph with the heated seats on, the aircon on and the window slightly open and I still get 33mpg. Have you considered using regular fuel and not a single malt?

My three kids have been playing Super Mario Kart (tenuous link to cars) on the Wii and they asked if I wanted to play...of course being the dutiful Dad (not their real dad, they're all 'adopted' from a Gypsy settlement near Glossop) I agreed and took a second to learn the controls, check out the track variations, the nuances of the different power-ups as well as the choice of karts. Then I fucking battered 'em. I mean I wiped the virtual Nintendo floor with them. One of them was in 12th and I lapped him whilst eating a Twix...seriously, I was outstanding. I won by a country mile and danced across the room waving my shirt in the air and sticking up two fingers to the lot of them.

Cut a long story short, the Wii has been disconnected and all three of my kids have started wetting the bed and having panic attacks at school. Some people are sore losers...

Breeze I'm telling head Deputy Headmistress Harman about your wanton destruction of our planet, you know that according to Comrade Harman you are only supposed to drive a 60mph, the aircon should only ever be used when the temperature exceeds 100 degrees, and just so you can't sneak out of it you know perfectly well she e-mailed out clarification that that is Celsius not Fahrenheit, and heated seats are only ever to be used to make one of our ethnic minority asylum seeking friends at home if they have a cold botty, it is as you well know not for bourgeois white anglo-saxons like you. I hope she gives you a stern talking to and uses the ultimate sanction of making you be an early adopter of the electric cars, to be made compulsory next year for all, with a top speed of 7mph, a range of 12ft and a recharging time of 4 days, unless you are on important minister for women and equality duty and one should note that as Comrade Harman is so busy and hard working this is all the time, even when shopping she is checking for womens things and equality matters, in which case you will of course get a large chauffeur driven Jag.

The good news is that when climate change gets even worse and the globe warms up to new levels my car also has cooled seats so I can't lose.

But by then they'll be selling the 4.3L version for peanuts and that's got an in-built fridge which is far more important than a few random eskimo carcases.

No problem getting soap in the future, just no clean water to use with it. I predict that in the year 2055 swimming pools will just be a bloke sat atop some step ladders handing out wet wipes and saying 'no bombing' at which the white Wilmslow parents will create an online petition after taking vicarious offence on behalf of some local Muslims who weren't at all fussed.

See, climate change, radical fundamentalism and stereotyping all in one sentence.

Two words: Nick Clegg.

Nick doesn't like David Cameron and he certainly couldnt get into bed with a party that was anti-Europe.

A hung Parliament means Nick and Vince are kingmakers and David doesn't suit their agenda. It's going to be a lot closer that people think. I'm knocking on doors and canvassing votes...the local Conservative Party haven't left the house once yet. Game on.
