Time Zones

Post by bigsamsarmyusa on Wed Sep 23, 2009 9:04 pm

This section was lonely so I figured I'd break it in.

For anyone that gives a damn (I don't):

US east coast is GMT-5 hours
US central is GMT-6 hours
US mountain is GMT-7 hours
US pacific is GMT-8 hours

Alaska and Hawaii have their own time zones but I only know Hawaii's is GMT-11 hours (I think).

What this means is that While Wayne is up watching a live game at 7 a.m. on a Saturday (3p.m. GMT), I'd have to be up at the god-awful time of 4 a.m. Shocked

4am is only God awful if we don't get 3 points.
I watched Megsons first game in charge with Peter in Calgary at about 5am.
That was God awful, and not just because of the time.

Sadly, that's more often than not nowadays, hence why I don't get up that early any more. I used to, regularly, when it was entertaining to watch. Nowadays, it's all about the DVR. Rolling Eyes

Then maybe they should play live at 4 or 5 a.m. their time, so they'll know how those in other time zones summer.
