Who owns and runs the bwfcforum site?

I own the domain name and manny road blog site and Klout
(bryan and mike)owns the actual site....!
I instigated and commissioned the site but it really is a collective of likeminded
people....

personally.. I just want somewhere I can let off steam ...like you without the
fear of being banned or censored.... So I've created a stage to do
that.... and that’s about as much involvement as I want.... this is why I want
jayjay... to run the site...I want the site to be owned by us, the fans who
build it up...! and for us to make any decisions relating to it.... not the club or the Moderator.....!
I felt a bit peeved when the club closed down our little group.... I also felt the same when I wasn't allowed to voice my opinion on Burnden Aces... even thoug I wasn't being abusive or offensive... so I thought we should have a platform that is in our own hands... and can't be closed or silenced by anyone....!

Josh has "instigated and commissioned the (new) site" behind your back and now wants you to run it!

I bet that will go down well with the ones who's running it there now!

He's put some serious money (in bwfc forum terms) in creating his own little world - do you really think he won't want to rule it?

He's tried to get me banned here - I'm sure anyone who disagrees with him won't last long on the new site!

There's not much loyalty in football - there seems to be even less on football forums!

Shame on any of you dumping Jay Jay and moving to the new forum - after all that he tried to do for you.

I am on both. Interesting what you say, bearing in mind you invited me to Burnden Bitches and then banned me, because I showed you up as the ignorant prat that you are.
I don't think Josh will randomly ban people, he and I have disagreed pretty forcefully in the past and yet I am welcome. The fact is you are just a prize pillock, who does not practice the freedom of speech that you preach.

I expect Josh and Breeze to rip into me too but that's just trying to hide what as happened - Josh as shafted Jay Jay and this site.

Wrap it up how you want it - 'the site can't grow', 'it doesn't attract people', or any other statement you want - and there IS truth in them - the fact is that without any form of discussion or collective agreement, Josh has gone off on his own because the site wasn't to his liking, spent his own money to "initiate and commissioned" a new site, with the specific aim of taking the members from here and basically screwing Jay Jay and this forum!

one problem im not sure of josh is one that has popped up on the a couple of other boards in the past which is, if you have got yourslves affiliated with the club then the club will have some form of sway over your board, for example they will put a stop to sharing of links to highlights and live streams, fixtures, and other little nuggets of football gold. the reason i set this board up was to step away from being associated with the club too closely so that it could truly, pretty much, be unruly.

first of all.... no one has shafted anybody.... least of all jayjay...I've been in negotiation with jayjay about the new site since before christmas....!







jayjay has known all along about the limitations of this
site... the forum hasn't caused this site to slow down.... the forum was
actually built for when this site had run its course....! which is a good
job... because had it not been... we'd all be drifting off ....!

like I've said.... my sole aim was to recreate the official board and posters...
I sponsored a player for half a season so that we could get an ad in the
official program... do you not see the irony in that.....?

I didn't try to get you banned here or on the forum, where you are a frequent
visitor..... I asked the members if we should ban you.... The overwhelming
majority who voted no....didn’t at all surprise me! Because whether i agree
with them or not... they're straight... and that’s why I did everything I could
to get this board off the ground...even getting myself banned from yours in the
process....

but when I took professional advice I was told this
board very limited, which is why I commissioned the forum.....!

You see sluffy..... I would never ban anybody for what they believe in.... I'm
not a mod or an admin...just a poster...

I have no interest in 'ruling' anything... the forum is already taking up more
of my time than I would like...! I'm one of those posters who flit in and out

Me... I see Burnden Aces..... Wanderers-Way and Bolton Banter as other sides of
the ground, watching the same team....not rivals...!

I haven't got any affiliation with the club....except through sponsorship... and the forum being up and running alone should tell you I don't do being told i can't say this or say that...thats the whole reason I'm here now !

by the way......could you see the club making any demands whatsoever on any of its paymasters....?

Fair enough Josh, so long as Jay Jay has been a willing and active participant in the establishment of the new site.

But the new site started LIVE on the 22nd NOVEMBER!!!

I know enough about starting forums that you must have commissioned the site a number of weeks before that too!

I doubt very much that Jay Jay had any say in the establishment at the new site aimed specifically at the recruitment of the membership from here.

Seems to me that action was taken behind Jay Jay's back in the conception, commissioning, creation and launch of the new site.

Indeed he even started a thread on it at the time, and has since made efforts to improve this site - so don't try to pull the wool.

You wanted me banned from here - you don't start a poll if you wanted me to stay - so don't come it.

As for seeing this - or any other site - as a threat, the truth (whether you believe me or not) is I don't.

You will find that an even newer BWFC site than yours opened as recently as this Wednesday and I have been supportive to them and offered them help.

I visit all the Bolton sites I know (Wanderers Ways, The Wanderer, Bolton Banter, 606, Bolton Mad, etc) several times a day - I post on most of them too.

I find that people tend to find a site they like and generally stick to it - I see nothing at all wrong viewing them a reading their various news and opinions - we all as you say support the same team.

I actually do admire your commitment and you actually putting your hand in your pocket to set up a rather excellent site for your mates from the old board - it's just how you've gone about it that stinks!

as I've stated before.... I instigated the site when this was in its infancy, jayjay was away and we (me and wendy) was single handedly trying to get this site off the ground after you came on here and 'hijacked' all the posters over to your site....!

as for me 'keeping quiet'... well I was probably being a little nieve in thinking I could do it without anyone knowing I was involved, as I just want to be a poster.....nothing else...!

oh and by the way sluffy..... when I instigated the forum... there wasn't any active members on this site... only me, Wendy and hotly.. even jayjay had called it a day.... and if all the members on here recall... I was the one who pmed them about this site... getting banned from your site in the proccess...
so don't come on here questioning my motives ! or suggesting I've been underhanded !!
