Well, he's been given the kiss of death vote of confidence, followed almost immediately by the chairman stepping down. Surely it is only a matter of time now before he is sacked.

I think he'll get the heave-ho within 48 hours of his next loss, which will probably be at the weekend.

i agree, i think his days are numbered!
would megson bring him here or would he not want to contend with brown for the fans affections, it could be a good move for megson and brown?

Megson won't want Brown... he's already got his own back-room sorted. Besides I reckon he would see Brown as a step backward, a move towards the old BSA regime which Megson is always keen to stress we're moving on from.

Also, having Brown on board would make it much easier for Gartside to give Megson the bullet (should we suffer a long run of bad results) and then install a new man on the cheap (as is his way).
