Hi everybody,

I built this board using existing software on the net and put it together after the official BWFC forum was taken down. I thought it would be a great way for Bolton fans to chat, gossip and keep in touch.

Many regular users of the old message board were angered at the way the club handled the closing of the forum. They just blocked access without notice and have not opened it again since. This left lots of fans unable to keep in touch with each other after years of regular contact through the official forum. This was designed as a refuge for those regular users and also as a base for new users to come and join in.

Hopefully this will match and surpass the quality of the old forum and users can continue to enjoy banter about all things Bolton Wanderers.

I wasn't.

I was, Wakey, because as stated, I was one who lost the ability to contact a lot of people I'd either met during visits to the UK or people I'd developed online friendships with.

I'm glad that a lot have found this site and hope they'll continue to use it.

Don't get me wrong, Wendy, it was outrageous that the official site was pulled.

But I couldn't be arsed being angry.

I get out more now and I am slowly trying to rebuild my life with the help of Samantha.

I don't get out more but I'm watching more telly and staying online less.
