Megson's Attitude

Did anyone else notice that Megson showed very little interest against Blackburn. Apart from when he was nearly coughing his tongue out he hardly moved - he just looked miserable as sin all through the match, and gave the impression that he couldn't care less.

We all saw it and agree it`s time for a change.
Ive always been a Phill Gartside admirer because he`s a big bolton fan through and through. Ive somewhat lost faith in him for appointing Megson in the first place and allowing him to spend forty million on players no better than what we already had. My gut feeling is Megson wont get the sack, the club will get relegated and Gartside will resign. But thats just my gut feeling.

Can't see Gartside resigning. He's on the Premiership Board and he won't want to lose that.

It's probably all down to Edwin Davies - but he's already accepted a guarantee of the £13.2 Million debt into his own organisation!

With Megson - we're in trouble if he's here into January.

Megson got the vote of confidence this morning, I think that in itself is a sign, if he was not under pressure there would be no need. He has clearly lost at least a proportion of the dressing room and seemed utterly resigned to that, bizarre, I guess maybe he knows the writing is on the wall and he is just waiting until the axe finally falls, why would he resign he won't get another good job, he needs to wring out every penny. Eddie Davies has a lot of money invested, if he has any sense he will pull the plug on the ginger one and bring in someone who is a proven success, there is only one available and that is Curbs, he is now free to look for a job as his court case with West Ham is finished, I would imagine we will see him in within three weeks.

For a minute there I thought you were describing me, then I read it again and saw you were on about Megson.

I would hope that Megson is now on a rolling weekly contract; ie, play crap and/or lose again and you are gone.
