Wolves pooped on us for 70 minutes...

We were playing Wolves, you know, little time club struggling to get points or goals, struggling to stay up. Or is that us? It's not good enough to set out the way that we did to face a team like Wolves. ONCE AGAIN we showed we don't know what to do with the ball.

Mccann was dire from the start, and now we remember why we need AOB out and a new body in. Taylor was practically invisible. Cohen was ineffective. The tactics were wrong, the creativity was zero and the points were never coming to Bolton.

On the other hand, despite a few light weight moments and misplaced passes we saw what Lee can do on quite a few occassions, he just showed that bit of extra intelligence which changes the whole scope of a chance. Gardner was better on the left, so start him there. Klasnic loooked alive and was always looking to shoot, and, Elmander scored again. We looked much better with Lee, Klasnic and Wlmander leading the charge.

And did we miss Davies? Yes, Mark Davies. Not Kevin.

We lost though? We at least drew away at Fulham, a far better team than Wolves, with Kev in the team!

If we had won, or played particularly well, then fair point but your argument seems to be We were shit again for most of the match and that somehow proves we didn't miss Davies! I feel I missed the point somehwhere along the line!

or drawn - how about we would have looked even worse cos we wud hav had no lee to set up the chances we had, or no elmander to score the goal, or maybe if lee was in, no klasnic to actually look like a real striker?

I'm not saying we would have done any better with Davies but using a game which we lost to a shit Wolves team is hardly conclusive evidence that we didn't miss him.

Is it really to do with Davies in/out of the team? I think it is more to do with Megson.
