I read that interview and I can't help but like the guy.

It's always the same... likewise whenever Megson does some press (aside from his constant & thinly veiled PR campaign) he usually makes a lot of sense - to me anyway.

i generally think PG makes decent comments about the club etc and seems to come across as a fan, it is more difficult i think in his position to keep everyone happy and he does ok really.

but Phil G is a bolton fan.....he talks like a bolton fan... I don't think he relishes being in the situation we're in and neither will he come out and say..he was wrong in appointing Megson.... he also see's a bigger picture than we do...!

He also stated that he isn't big enough to admit he made the wrong choice in manager and sack the bugger if necessary (well, it was insinuated rather than actually stated).

This is the official Board backs the manager statement.

How many more losses will it take to get shut? End of December at the latest, surely.
