...the Bent headed goal for Sunderland?

I have a point to make.

The ball was played long towards Bent, he headed it on to the player wide of him who then took the ball quickly forward, meanwhile Bent ran FAST into the box in time to arrive for the cross coming in from the right. He headed the ball perfectly into the net. The whole move happened in about four or 5 seconds.

I am sure that that is the REAL idea of the long ball flick on move.

Please Wanderers fans, stop thinking that what Kevin Davies brings to the team is GOLDEN. It really is not. The odd flick on or slide tackle is nothing compared to what a real striker brings to a team, I don't care how much effort you put in, how much tackling you try to do, I want you to be a striker, in my eyes we are a man down as long as we keep thinking Davies is the best thing since sliced bread.

He has done over 55 fouls this season and made 1 assist from open play, how can you say he doesnt really bring anything to the team?

he certainly wasnt being touted by me, he would have been so found out if he appeared in an england shirt.

KD would be made better use of by being dropped into midfield or defense and leave the scoring to proper strikers.
