You remember incorrectly, I think what I said was he would be better than Megson, I was rather optimistically championing Phil Scolari's acquisition, as he had just been suspended for several months for punching an opposition player and thus his relations with the Portuguese FA were at an all time low.

I spoke to Gartside earlier and he said Jewell was a diamond geezer.

Funny how we're all disgusted and angry about the possible appointment of the favourite for the job.

Like I said, be careful what you wish for...

If Gartside was going to appoint someone good there would not be any anger, if he appoints Jewell it will cost him his job and us our premier league status, the guy has had a couple of good seasons and quite a few poor ones, not a recommendation. Looks like fat phil is going to the bargain basement again.

Well Coyle is effectively not even a choice because he wants to stay at Burnley...and Curbishley has as much personality as you.

I think that is one of the problems,there are no great choices out there.

Screw personality Curbs would do a good job.

Since Little Sam left there have been no obvious choices as BSA's replacement...because that's still what we're talking about: who can be our new BSA. I still maintain that if the new manager loses the first four games the fans will be saying 'I didn't want him anyway - Gartside Out!'.

If we appoint a good manager then I imagine I will have to defend him against the sort of idiots who had so little judgement they backed Megson, oh that would be you and breeze then Josh.

After BSA'S sexual antics got him in trouble with EVIL PHIL, surely he won't want JEWELL and his car bonnet YOUTUBE PHILANDERING anywhere near THE REEBOK.

Most of you know that my sister, my best friend and I used to hang out with BSA, Reidy, Barry Siddall (my sister's boyfriend) and Neil Whatmore.

A few years ago (not that many), my friend ran into Reid and they got chatting (he recognized her). It didn't take him more than a few minutes to come on to her (albeit she's quite gorgeous). Nothing's changed with him. If he becomes manager, lock up your wives and daughters everyone.
