The roundest ball ever for world cup!

Yes apparantly, until now, professional match balls have not been round enough so a new one has been developed ready for use in the world cup. It's going to be the roundest ball ever and should eliminate that movement in the air that we currently see especially on Roanldo free kicks.

The only country already using the ball are Germany in the Budesliga. If the ball used is going to make any difference in games and the way it works then surely we all need to be having a go. It's not very fair if suddenly you are presented with a tool that is unfamiliar right in the deep end on the world stage.

The premier League though are contractually obliged to use the Nike balls provided by sponsorship for every game.

You should have tried playing with the square balls we played with years ago. None of them fancy "banana" shots back in them days let me tell you.

Every tournament there's news of a new ball...nothing to do with trying to sell more footballs of course. Oh no..

Heard the guy from the university that helped develop the round ball 'selling' these on GMR on Saturday.

I question what they have been using all these years!!
