So would I.

I bet he is salivating at the thought of signing for us, too.

He will end up with West Ham, that's the advantage of having a manager with a bit of pizzaz, it also helps that he's Italian and was a great player to boot. We'll end up with another Raziak or Makukula. Such is the allure of "The Golden One".

Who was the article about. The link wouldn't load.

Despite Zola's 'pizzaz', he hasn't bought a singe player who I wish we'd signed and they're currently below us by a point having played two games more.

If they want to West Ham, they're going for the money and not the lure of playing for Zola.

Hmmmm. He would be a good signing but I don't trust the source.

DSF Doppelpass is German for 'Tribal Football'.

Woopty, bloody doody!! He signs one decent striker and he's off the hook? What about all the rubbish he has brought in?

Er no, those are your words, not mine. I'm saying that if he can bring in Klasnic it is not beyonds the realms of man to think he could bring in someone or similar stature.

Of course we could always swap Megson with Zola 'cos he's brought in some really, really well known international players...

I doubt Toni will be off to West Ham either. They are in financial straits. Plus, Zola's shine is dimming with each negative result.

So, that'll be Toni to Everton, Villa or some such.

Our only advantage is that he played against us a couple of years back and we did our image no harm with that outing. Hopefully he'll remember us for our attacking spirit and not the record amounts of spew on the concourse floor.

But it reads like he is a player that is unsettling the dressing room and falling out with the manager/team(?)/club!

That can't be good. We already have the ginger one to play that role.

Not at all, he's been on a big contract for ages that the club has been tied to and he's a more 'physical' striker that they no longer feel is their type of man. He'd be an absolute hero in the PL, albeit only for a year or so until his legs fell off through old age and dry rot.

Luca Toni is a very similar player to Klasnic though, strong finisher but not the most mobile. He's better in the air than Klasnic though. If his contract wasn't such a good one he'd have come to the PL two years ago when he first dropped out of favour.

What kind of wages do you reckon he is/was on? Out of our league, I'd guess.

He's 32 remember. We'd only get him on a loan anyway, there's no way we'd bother signing him on a long term deal. Part payment of wages plus a loan fee. Well worth it in my book...just very unlikely to happen when we need a decent midfielder and a centre half.

I think Luca Toni is a bit out of Klasnic's league reputation wise, although who knows what would have been the case had the latter not spent half his career out. Toni was an awesome player, would be well worth a punt on loan.

It would take him 5-6 weeks to get up to speed + italians run backwards with hands up in the air..........So my old man says anyway........

So whereas Tamir Cohen goes missing for ten minutes during a game, Luca Toni could go missing for six years?
