Bolton v Lincoln Empty Bolton v Lincoln

Post by mangler Fri Jan 01, 2010 3:45 pm

Right oh, very off-topic at the moment I know, but...

Predictions please for the FA Cup game that we've probably all forgotten we've got tomorrow.

I'd love to think we'll have a decentish crowd and a post-Megson celebratory performance with a thumping 4-0 win!

Anybody's guess as to what team they'll put out. I suppose with the midweek Arsenal game it'll be a mixed bag, although I would be very surprised if it is a complete overhaul... maybe just the likes of McCann, Samuel, Al-Habsi and Ricketts getting a look in.

Actually, now I think about it, I can also see Elmander and Basham making a start. Ah fuck it; what do I know?!?

I agree I think that the players will be much happier now that Megson is gone, I am going for an optimistic 5-0, Klasnic first half hat trick.

My interest in football has dwindled since Gary left.

I know it must be hard breeze, I don't want to depress you more but you may even have to put up with some of that horrible tippy tappy stuff you and gary hated so much if Owen arrives.

Well hopefully I will have to put up with that and you will have to put up with us playing decent football and less cowardice, looks like we may all have to make compromises!

But you think tracking wingers are wrong...so you automatically disagree with Coyle. He's not even arrived yet and you're aleady finding fault with his tactics.

No breeze you are trying to create an argument where none exists, why does it bother you that I am pleased. You have often asked what it would take, well Owen Coyle or Curbs as manager would do me fine, but if I am being really greedy can we have Scott Parker as well.

I think if it is Coyle the club should have a huge party at his first home game, hand out Coyle masks, have old players come and big fireworks.

You megsonista's are just party poopers. It looks like the fans might win, the ginger plonker is gone and maybe just maybe we are going to get a talented, attacking and popular manager.
But you also miss the more subtle point and indeed I am just shooting ideas out some are probably silly, but we need to heal the rift between the club and the fans quickly, we need full houses and we need to return the Reebok to being a fortress. We should start the new regime on the most positive note possible, yes it is tub thumping and parochial but screw it, we need to hear the Reebok roar again. It would lift the spirits of the fans and players, we could have flame machines next to the home tunnel as well that shoot flames into the sky as the players run out.

I supported Bolton...managers are just temporary custodians. Difference is my support is unconditional and I actually go to matches...you should try it sometime instead of glory hunting.

I hardly think supporting Bolton this long could be described as glory hunting. how do you explain you lack of judgement in supporting Megson?

But you a glory hunter...you boycotted the club based on their choice of the last manager and you actively encouraged people to protest before the last manager had even sat at his desk. You're not a decent fan, Tim. I can't change that fact - you are clearly suppoting the wrong club and when I say support I mean that quite incorrectly.

Back on topic, children.

That'll be 3-0 for me, Klasnic and maybe Cohen.
