Birmingham v Wanderers - Result 1-2
Well, it was a great win (even though it was only Brum).
The defence was outstanding and only a mistake in midfield allowed Birmingham back into the game. Lively players were Cohen and Chung-Yong, surely they have cemented their places into the squad now.
Couple of negatives:
1) Those two, Cohen and Lee, should keep up field when the other side has the ball. They have pace and guile but aren't the best defenders or winners of the ball - they should leave that to players like Muamba, Mark Davies and McCann.
2) It looks to me like Kevin Davies is becoming our Nolan. He now seems only to know stopping the ball and tracking backwards. On one occasion he was put clean through with an opportunity to score but again chose to turn and slow things down. That said, he still wins balls in the air.
Finally - I didn't like to see Jaaskelainen's rant at Ricketts. The latter was probably right, that high ball and bounce would have been taken by any other goallie. One for Megson to sort out, which he probably wont.

I was delighted to see our result today. I don't like Megson but I do like us winning.
