What am I missing ?

The above quote is courtesy of our esteemed Chairman, please, anyone, explain to me what I am missing, because if what has been served up of late is deemed to be good football I would hate to see what we are like when we play badly.

We had a few good games, we played very well against Tottenham, but it is the exception not the rule. You have to remember Gartsides best buddie and advisor on everything football is Meggo's agent so he is always going to put a positive spin on it. However, I think he will have to sack him or it will be his head in a noose too.

Mark Curtis hasn't acted for Megson for many years. Megson's last agent was Micky Walsh.

Mark Curtis is also Sam Allardyce's agent.

No one behind the scenes can understand the pull Curtis has over Gartside. Nothing happens at the club without him having a piece of it, it makes it very difficult to move players in or out. He needs to be removed, along with Gartside and Megson.

So is Mark Curtis still working for BWFC, Tim?

Considering Gartside made these comments prior to the Blackburn game, he really could be in trouble.

I was thinking the same thing; if the comments were made before yesterday's debacle, then Megson could be on a "last warning to improve" that could see him turfed out before mid-December.

Personally, I'd give him no more time. However, Gartside apparently will give him time. Hopefully this means that results and attractiveness of the football played will have to be consistently good every game to keep Megson in a job.
