Re: Time for a...
Talking about "time for a break", I'm returning to work tomorrow after 3 weeks off with my ankle break.
I got a "get well soon" card from a work friend on Friday and she wrote in it "I bet you can't wait to return to work".
Um, WRONG!!! I have loved being home, doing what I want, when I want, and getting paid my wages and getting my medical coverage, benefits, etc. I have a body designed to go to bed around 1-2 a.m. and get up around 9-10 a.m., which isn't condusive to work life.
I could happily receive all the benefits of having a job but not actually having to get up and go in an do the job.

Wendy, you miss the best part of the day getting up that late. 5-30 to 6 am is a magical time to be up. Coffee in hand and paper to read you can't beat it, especially in the summer months when the sun is up ahead of you. Overlooking the Rockies the sunrises can be majestic as it casts a golden glow on the mountains.

There has just been a wonderful series on CANADA with Ray Mears, all about the early pioneers and the bushcraft they used to survive.
I envy you the incredible country that you have.
Where exactly are you in CANADA ?

Sunset is best in California, where the sun sets, not rises, which I am always up for.

I'm in Gods Country Bun, which is otherwise known as Calgary, gateway to the Rockies.
