Surely such a guy would be tied up with business dealings, holidays in the South of France and attending football matches?

well get
this.... I emailed Phil Gartside earlier this season and got a phone call the
day after off Curtis impersonating PG, offering me guest seats in the chairman’s
suite for the following game..... when I turned up... he was dressed like PG
and even looked like PG.... in fact to a layman... ... well... he didn't fool
me.... I knew he was Curtis...!
